Police: Peeping Tom arrested in Rock Hill 


 ROCK HILL --  Police have arrested a peeping Tom suspect in Rock Hill who has a lengthy history of voyeurism and indecent exposure charges.Travis Al Jeron Cousar, 30, of Rock Hill was arrested early Thursday morning. His bond is $40,000.Cousar has been a suspect in as many as 18 peeping Tom and indecent exposure incidents dating to 2008. He has been in jail for the past year, and was recently released, said Lt. Brad Redfearn. Cousar However, he does not match the description of the peeping Tom who has been sighted around Eden Terrace in the past few weeks.In the Cousar's most recent peeping incident, a man said he was inside his bathroom when he saw someone outside of the window of his South Spruce Street home, according to a Rock Hill police report.

The peeper ducked once he saw the man looking back at him, but a few minutes later he looked in the window again. When he saw the man still looking, he took off running, the report states.Officers circulated the area and saw someone matching the suspect's description riding a bike on the street, the report states. The man positively identified Cousar as the peeping Tom and he was charged.Cousar has numerous felony and misdemeanor convictions dating back to 1998, according to a State Law Enforcement Division background check. The convictions include possession of crack cocaine, attempted burglary and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

i know this isn't rock hill....but again, fort mill is close enough. and i wanted to be able to tag food lion...which comes up about once a week.


Report: Man robbed Fort Mill Food Lion, stole employee's Jeep From Staff Reports -

 FORT MILL --  Police responded to an armed robbery Thursday night at a Fort Mill Food Lion.Employees were leaving the store at 1360 Hwy. 160 East next to Springfield Parkway, when a man who "acted as if he was armed with a handgun" ordered them inside, according to a Fort Mill police report.Once inside, he took money and demanded keys to one of the employee's 1992 Jeep. The suspect left in the stolen vehicle, the report states.


The Jeep was later found unoccupied in the parking lot at Springfield Middle School, according to Capt. Bryan Zachary of the Fort Mill Police Department. The keys were in the ignition and a GPS was stolen from the Jeep.A K9 unit was called to track the suspect, but was unsuccessful. He likely left the school parking lot in another car, Zachary added.“They had another vehicle waiting there, or had someone pick them up there, one of the two,” he said.The unknown robber is described as between 18- and 25-years-old, about five feet, five inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds.Police are checking video surveillance from the school, Zachary said. They were also working to get video surveillance from Food Lion. It has to be obtained through the company’s home office in Salisbury, N.C. Fort Mill Times contributed
