An employee of the Dollar General at 1807 Cherry Road is accused of stealing $910 from nightly cash drops from the store.
Ashley Bennett, 19, told police she took the money to pay her bills, according to a Rock Hill police report.
A manager told police Bennett took the money between Oct. 27 and Nov. 4.
Bennett was arrested Thursday and charged with breach of trust.
Bennett has no prior criminal record in South Carolina, according to SLED records.
