Student charged with marijuana possession at South Pointe
ROCK HILL --
A South Pointe High student is accused of bringing marijuana to school, police say.
Jess Voll, 18, was walking up a hall toward the office Monday afternoon when he dropped a plastic baggie on the floor, according to a Rock Hill police report.
A coach came behind Voll and picked up the bag containing marijuana, the report states. He turned it over to the school's resource officer. The incident was captured on the school's surveillance video.
Voll was charged with possession of marijuana and transported to the Rock Hill law center.
